About Us

Tree Lafayette plants and maintains trees primarily on public property or rights-of-way (mainly along streets) in Lafayette, Indiana and educates about and promotes trees. Since our beginning in 1993, Tree Lafayette has planted more than 4,000 trees in the Greater Lafayette, Indiana community.  We need volunteers to help plant and care for trees and for our committees which support our operations.  Lafayette is recognized as a Tree City USA and a Tree City of the World.

See our Resources tab for information about trees, the many benefits of trees, invasive species, climate change, local wooded areas, forest bathing, and more.
